Hydratech Cyclone 16000 Filter

An advanced pressurised filtration system available with or without ultraviolet clarifier (UVC). N.B It is NOT possible to convert a normal Cyclone to a UVC one at a later date. The filter may be partially buried if desired. The filter inlet (2) is connected directly to the pond pump. The cyclone flow (3) causes fine waste to stick together improving filter efficiency. Green water is cleaned by the UVC (4) in UVC models. Filter cleaning is reduced through the use of triple action high surface area foam pads (5). Biospheres (6) provide biological filtration. Hose from the outlet (1) can either return water directly to the pond, or feed a waterfall. The filter has a backwash system for cleaning. Help with choosing a Cyclone filter.

Performance

The table below shows the maximum recommended volumes of different types of pond with fish for which this filter is suitable. Koi carp grow larger and produce more waste than other fish so if the pond has koi halve the recommended volumes shown.

Recommended Hose size

38mm (1.5"), the supplied multi hose connector will accept 25, 32 and 38mm hose and should be trimmed off at the 38mm size.
