One of the best selling small pond filters, Jet Streams are efficient yet highly affordable!
In addition to filtering and oxygenating the pond, Jet Streams double as a stable jet support allowing the pump to be sited at the edge of the pond for easy maintenance. Jet streams are highly versatile and as they are pressurised they may be used out of the pond or even buried with the jet removed. They use rock filter media for mechanical filtration and Filtroc 3000 high efficiency biological filter media.
To set up the filter, the rock filter media is placed at the base, then the hoop shaped Filtroc 3000 and finally a layer of foam at the top.
There are two models available, the inlet of both models will accept 3/4" (19mm) or 1" (25mm) tubing. The outlet is either via the fountain jet on both models or a tubing adapter. On the 500 gallon model this adapter accepts 1/2" (12mm) tubing, on the 1000 gallon model it accepts 3/4" (19mm) tubing.
N.B. You will need to unscrew and discard the 0.5" male / male adapter from its female / male connector to enable you to use either the fountain jet or tubing adapter(s).
