The pre wired Filtration Air+ System comes set up with the air pump installed in the lid of the filter unit and complete with airline tubing and airstones. The air pump provides increased oxygen levels, improving filter efficiency and pond health.
Air can be diverted by extending the airline into the pond during the winter, to prevent an area icing over and increasing oxygen levels.
The Filtration Power Air+ System which also includes a switch box has the added advantage of the air pump and UVC being already wired directly into the switch box, leaving 2 spare terminals which could be used for a pump and an additional item such as lighting. This system is not only much simpler to install, it also is tidier with fewer cables, and the switch box unit is neatly riveted to the side of the filter box. The switch box comes complete with a 10m length of mains cable.
