During the winter months, the pond heater ensures an ice-free area in your pond, allowing toxic gasses out and oxygen in! Both of these functions are of great importance for the biological functions of the pond.

Available in 3 power options - 150 watt, 300 watt and 600 watt. As a guideline, if you are just trying to prevent your pond from freezing over completely, then the 150 watt model would suffice. If however, you are wanting to keep the water temperature a fraction warmer than would normally be the case, then we would suggest:-

150 watt for a 3,000 litre pond
300 watt for a 6,000 litre pond
600 watt for a 12,000 litre pond
